The Silent Catastrophic Havoc of the Failing CMOS Battery

Due to a failing CMOS battery which wreaked all kinds of havoc on my desktop—the system I mostly write on—and being ill for a week, I’ve been offline attempting to get my house in order so I can continue pounding out the words. I finally got everything working and will, once again, be dropping chapters soon.

FYI: If you’ve had your system for a while and start experiencing errors, check your CMOS battery. It’s a battery the look and size of a nickel on your motherboard. It’s like $5 to replace and could possibly be the source of all your problems. This will save you lots of money.
